Leônidas Valdez

Leônidas is a black multidisciplinary artist and lives in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro (b. 2002). Their art is like water in a river: it is constantly flowing and changing. As a traditional artist, Leônidas conveys in his art emotional and psychic issues based on feeling and on what is understood as beautiful when the inner self comes into contact with the outer world. As an artist in the crypto world, Leonidas discovers the use of AI’s to create magical worlds and landscapes that already exist, have existed or will exist in some way. For Leonidas, doing what they love and want to do in art is the best act of resistance.

Wrecks

Wrecks (She/they) is a self-taught multi-media artist from Chicago. Their focus is in making electronic music and text-based compositions.

Since their introduction into music production in 2017, Wrecks has worked to create music and DIY visuals focused in the Black Femme electronica aesthetic.

Though their introduction to design started with music, Wrecks has worked since early 2021 to redefine for themselves, what it means to be an artist in adulthood. How does one feel validated as an artist outside of traditional institutions?

Through design, Wrecks has been able to explore and transform their own understanding of the ownership of creative processes.

Dezentral is an award winning veteran art director who worked for the entertainment industry for decades. He is also a digital artist who amalgamates animation with collage in his works. The preferred technique he uses for the animation part of his work is glitch, which shares the same deconstructive nature with collage art. Nostalgia, modern day iconography and the ambiguity of our times’ reality are main themes of his work.

Noah Kocher

Noah Kocher was born and raised in Tennessee, but has been residing in Brooklyn for the last 3 years. His work has taken many turns over the last 10 years he’s been creating it. Once he discovered the potential of the liquify tool it changed everything for him. Kocher’s work explores the unknown and surreal. Each image he creates distorts reality in a way that draws your attention immediately. While taking inspiration from vintage imagery before his time, he creates fresh new works that push the boundaries of what a collage can be.

Belen Lopez de Carlo

Belén López De Carlo was born in 1991 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a degree in Visual Arts from the University of the Argentine Social Museum, UMSA, and is trained as a Scenographic Director at Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón. Belén did a clinic workshop with Leila Tschopp in the Hunters Foundation Artists Program in 2019 and was part of the PAC 2020 Project of Gachi Prieto Gallery. She has created works for the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, the Larreta Museum, the National Library, Tecnópolis and private spaces & currently teaches drawing and painting classes at her art studio. Through her works, Belén makes visible a society anesthetized by contemporary technologies. She’s interested in recording the anguish and melancholy of a generation, the frivolous interactions that only remain online, the eternal search for approval, and the virtual world as a new territory. Belén lives and works in Buenos Aires.
